‘Resident Evil 7’ Will Support Xbox Play Anywhere, Don’t Miss The Chance To Play The Title On Two Platforms

“Resident Evil 7” is confirmed to support Xbox Play Anywhere as revealed in an official tweet by Xbox Head Phil Spencer. This came good news to the fans of the survival horror video game because it will allow them to play the title on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Below are some relevant details associated with Spencer’s announcement.

As per the official Xbox Resident Evil website, those who will pre-order the digital version of the title for Xbox will also get to play it on the Windows 10 PC platform. The same was announced by Spencer on his Twitter account. See the Xbox boss’ tweet below.

Apart from the opportunity to play the title on multiple platforms, players will also be able to sync and save the game progress across Xbox One and PC. This way, players would be able to pick up where they left off anywhere they choose to play. Isn’t that so convenient and exciting?

“Resident Evil 7” is reportedly the latest game to join in on the new Microsoft Play Anywhere system. As per a report by Tech Times, other titles that are confirmed to support the program include the two independent games “Everspace” and “Astroneer” that are developed by Rockfish Games and System Era Softworks, respectively. “Forza Horizon 3,” “Gears of War 4,” “Killer Instinct” and “ReCore” are also expected to join in.

The new “Resident Evil” title is believed to deliver another terrifying gameplay. With the implementation of Capcom’s RE Engine, it is expected to have more detailed and photorealistic scenes with richer and luminous colors. The game is also suggested to come with a limited-time movie token code for “Resident Evil: Retribution” available to those who pre-order in the United States until Feb. 6.
