This Week’s PS4, PS3, And Vita Deals Are An “Essentials” Sale

Everything from Battlefield to Danganronpa is on sale.

The PlayStation Store’s latest weekly sale has begun and is dubbed the PlayStation Essentials sale.

Over 100 games are on sale across PS4, PS3, and Vita, with PlayStation Plus members receiving additional discounts. Several of last year’s biggest PS4 games are included, although some of them–Battlefield 1 ($36 for Plus subscribers/$42 without Plus) and Overwatch ($50/$54)–aren’t at the cheapest prices we’ve seen.

Also on PS4, Titanfall 2 can be had for $30 ($36 without Plus), Just Cause 3 for $15 ($21), Metro Redux for $7.49 ($10.49), and Transistor for $6 ($8). Grand Theft Auto V, which continues to sell tremendously well despite its age, is also discounted to $30 ($36).

The selection on PS3 and Vita is much more limited. PS3 owners can pick up The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for $20 ($24) or Resident Evil 0 for $12 ($14). On Vita, you’ll find Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for $16 ($20) or Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair for $24 ($28).

You can check out the full list of deals on the PlayStation Store. This sale runs from now until January 31.
