WhatsApp Beta adds GIF search integration and lets you share 30 photos in one go instead of 10

WhatsApp developers have released a new update for its Android beta program run through Android program. The new update adds GIF search integration in WhatsApp without the need of any separate app or keyboard to send the apps like GBoard by Google or Tenor GIF as reported by Android Police. Currently the search is powered by GIPHY and you can conduct the search, select and send the GIFs without leaving WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is likely to add other search providers for the GIFs in addition to plans to introduce stickers. One thing to note is that these features are only available on WhatsApp Beta version at the time of writing. The features will make their wait to the stable branch of WhatsApp in coming weeks after the company has ironed out remaining bugs. The company is expected to rollout full sized image sharing to the platform among other featuresĀ as reported earlier.

The developers have also increased the limit on the number of multi media messages that you can send at once to 30. Previously the limit was set at 10 and you could not share more than 10 videos or photos at one time. This will reduce the number of duplicate photos of videos or documents that crop up while sending large number of files.
